Edgerton Home Revival Program

The Home Revival Program aims to improve and update “affordable” homes in Edgerton by providing grants and low interest loans for eligible improvements. Modernizing smaller or outdated housing units improves livability, increases resale values, makes homes more energy efficient, and attracts more people to live and invest in Edgerton.

Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)

Income Based Grant - 0% Interest Loans Available for Home Repairs! Funds are Limited!

The City of Edgerton has grant finds available for housing rehabilitation through a Community Development Block Grant. These funds will be loaned at 0% interest to eligible households for home repairs. Applications are accepted on a first-come first-serve basis. There is no cost to fill out an application, and all information submitted is strictly confidential.

Homeowners

Funds will be lent to eligible households for home repairs. Households must meet the income limits listed here to be eligible. The loan is a 0% interest, deferred payment loan: you do not pay it back until you sell the house or no longer live there. After 30 years, your loan will be reviewed with the possibility of extending it for another 30 years.

The loans can be used to make the following types of repairs:

Replace Windows & Doors
Roofing
Electrical Upgrades
Connect Water & Sewer Lines
Painting. Siding. Porch Repairs
Repair/Replace Heating Systems, Water Heaters & Plumbing Systems
